Winter is always a time for drawing the curtains, putting the kettle on and settling down for a good read.

For the first aA Winter Book Suggestion, we have chosen As I Walked Out One Midsummer Morning by Laurie Lee.

Spain in the 1930’s attracted the best writers, poets, thinkers, artists and photographers of the generation. George Orwell, Ernest Hemingway, Robert Capa, Kim Philby and Camilo José Cela to name but a few.
