VUJJ
Vujj launched their critically acclaimed inaugural collection at the London Design Festival in 2006 and then took their brand of expressive minimalism to an international audience at the Milan Salone Del Mobile 2007.
Vujj are a manufacturer steeped in a sense of place, with a visual language that expresses their roots in the Öresund region of southern Sweden. They blend the fine traditions of Scandinavian design with a new approach to manufacturing that sees them push the boundaries of material and technical possibilities. Vujj utilise the craftsmen’s knowledge of their designers to create pieces that are often dreamlike in form, whilst retaining material efficiency and quality of build.
Vujj value the qualities of elegance and simplicity, they produce designs on different scales that are full of character and expressive in their nature. Their two collections (2006/2007) of products now includes sofas, dining chairs, recliners, a chaise long, a rocking chair, outdoor furniture, a kitchen table, tableware, shelving and decorative objects for containing plants or flowers.
Vujj work with young international designers and have produced designs by Artur Moustafa, Jonas Nordgren, Johannes Herbertsson Karl, Henrik Rennstam, Penny Forlano, Filip Lipinski, Niklas Madsen, Martin Berg and Gustaf Wollin.
